28 października o godz. 19.00 w Instytucie Grotowskiego (Studio Na Grobli) odbędzie się instalacja performatywna „Kain in absentia". Wstęp wolny, ale wymagana jest rezerwacja miejsc.

„Kain in absentia” to instalacja performatywna Fundacji Jubilo, która powstała na podstawie nagrania spektaklu „Kain”, zarejestrowanego w Zakładzie Karnym nr 1 we Wrocławiu w roku 2019. Scenografia ze spektaklu, światła oraz dźwięk pozwolą widzowi jeszcze raz powrócić do świata stworzonego przez aktorów za masywnymi ścianami więzienia. Przestrzeń instalacji stwarza zdaniem twórców możliwość „wejścia w głąb siebie, w regiony bolesne, ale dzięki temu pozwalające lepiej zrozumieć swoją istotę”.
Punktem wyjścia do rozpoczęcia audiowizualnych poszukiwań i kluczem interpretacyjnym stało się dla twórców pojęcie nieobecności. Wykorzystane w instalacji projekcje wideo, zarysowujące ciała Kainów, wchodzą w organiczne relacje z puszczonymi z offu głosami. Za pomocą połączenia teatru i sztuk wizualnych spektakl „Kain” zyskuje nowe konteksty i znaczenia. Pomimo fizycznego braku aktorów twórcom instalacji udaje się ponownie znaleźć „drogę na zewnątrz, w kierunku społeczeństwa, z dala od naszej publicznej podmiotowości i statusu, odnajdując nowy poziom obecności – redefinicję samego siebie”.

Kain In Absentia - a performative installation by the Jubilo Foundation

The installation is based on the recording of the performance "Cain", recorded in the Penitentiary Institution No. 1 in Wroclaw in 2019. The set design of the performance, light and sound will allow the viewer to return once again to the world created by the actors behind the massive walls of the prison. The space of the installation creates, according to the creators, the possibility of "entering into the depths of oneself, into painful regions, but thanks to that, allowing to better understand one's essence".
The starting point for the audiovisual search and the interpretative key has become the concept of absence. The video projections used in the installation, which outline Cain's bodies, enter into organic relations with the voices played off. Through the combination of theater and visual arts, the spectacle "Cain" gains new contexts and meanings. Despite the physical lack of actors, the creators of the installation manage to find again "a way outside, towards society, far from our public subjectivity and status, finding a new level of presence - a redefinition of ourselves".
