The Death of an Actress

When the Greek histories spoke of the death of a "Soldier," they spoke of no other than of a dedicated soldier, never naming those who were worse "bad," but preferring not to mention them at all. In the same vein, we can say that an Actress has died.

On the night of the the 30th of August, Krystyna Michel passed away after a battle with cancer that she refused to surrender her art to. Marek Mokrowiecki, the director of the Theater in Płock, where she spent the last 12 years, recalls of her: "I ment Krystyna in Cieszyn, where I was directing 'Farmers,' by Grohowiak.
