In memory of the late Pope John Paul II and in response to the wishes of the public, Teatr Nowy in Lodz will present a performance of Karol Wojtyla's "The Jeweller's Store"

The performance, which will have a celebratory character, will take place on Monday the 11th of April in the Grand Hall (Duza Sala). Directing the play will be Andrzej Maria Marczewski, while a new, original music track has been authored by Tadeusz Wozniak. Following the performance, a discussion will be held on the subject of the role and meaning of Karol Wojtyla's theatrical work on the history of Polish and world culture.
